The Sandwich Factory Incident
You're an Investigator in the city of San Vincente. You receive a tip involving the San Vincente Sandwich Company's Sandwich Factory, the place that makes the sandwiches that go to San Vincente's convenience stores. You've heard there are some shady dealings going down there. But you're completely unprepared for how shady the next dealings will actually be!
The Sandwich Factory Incident is a short (10-20 minutes on a first playthrough) Twine game in the vein of Escape Academy. Wander the factory, take notes, and solve puzzles to shut the factory down. Can you save the family being held hostage inside? Or will the San Vincente Sandwich Company put a human touch into its next batch of sandwiches?
This was made over a roughly 6-week period in Twine 2.12.0 and Harlowe 3.3.9.

I had a good time with this! The writing had a fun balance of macabre and sitcom/saturday morning cartoon energy that i liked. It was worthwhile to explore the whole space to get a feel for what was going on and gathering clues, i didn't feel a need to get a perfect result on my first playthrough but i was able to gather enough info and take notes to get an ending i was happy with on a subsequent attempt. I like the clever use of graphical elements in some of the puzzles. One puzzle in particular felt like a nice tricky eureka moment of putting several bits of info together which might be the highlight of the game for me. Overall a cool use of twine/harlowe to tell a fun and grimly comic story.
